how to pick just one?
I have a real soft spot for all the ones I had as a kid.
Of those, I'll go with Iron Man. I really love the whole figure, the head sculpt, the plastic, fisted gloves, the bright colors. And, he is one of the ones I own today.

Aquaman. I was a little over 3 years old, and I loved the color purple. When I went to the toystore with my mom and older brothers who were going there for water guns, I saw this solid purple box displayed by the register. I didn't know what was inside, but I was drawn to the box color and pretty artwork. I told my mom I wanted it, not knowing exactly what it was, or ever ever knowing a thing about action figures. When I asked my mom what it was called, she replied "Aquaman", well not ever hearing that word aqua before, I assumed she said apple man, so for the next month, My fixation started as I played with this apple man, until I finally accepted his real name, LOL. That was "The" action figure that started it off, and was the result of many future visits to the toy store.Leave a comment:

Batman (RC).
My favorite superhero as a kid (thanks to the Adam West show's daily 3:30 re-runs). He was also the first Mego I ever saw in the store (the most incredible sight I'd ever seen in the Target toy department in my six years of life), and the first one I ever got (a birthday present a few months later). simply the best, for all he represents to me, and everything I can remember through him.

Spider-man. All the other heroes look happy; Spidey is stoic. All the other WGSH look like they just farted on an elevator, but not Spidey.Leave a comment:

Robin of course. The removable mask, the booties, the oven mitts, the fact he was produced from beginning to end. What's not to love?Leave a comment:

I've just about had it with them and I'd love to cancel my order. Don't feel like giving them my money anymore. This was my first order ever and it's definitely my last too

While I cannot deny the fondness I have for Spidey, Supes, Batman and Robin, my heart still belongs to. . .
BATGIRL!!!
The dominoed dare-doll. The way the gray nylon interlocking knit hugs her every curve; the bright yellow, die-cut emblem emblazoned across her chest; the excellent detailing and tight fit of her utility purse-kit; the snug fitting higher-heeled yellow boots; the more slender fit, feathered yellow gloves; the contrasting blue scalloped cape beckoning to be blown by the wind from an open window; the distinct blue color of the removable cowl. These were incredible, true. But the clincher, you ask? The clincher was the hair, man. The vibrant red tresses bouncing above and off her shoulders like a beautiful ring of fire, in a color not found anywhere other than a 4-color comic. She's the One. The Only One. Even after all these years. To meLeave a comment:

The Joker without a doubt. A minty Joker is simply a thing of beauty, the crisp purple, green and orange outfit, bright green hair, and that face sculpt. He has that look to him--not the completely insane look that many Jokers feature today, but a look that says, "yeah, I'm gonna get you, and it's gonna be freakin' hilarious."Leave a comment:

The Mighty Thor has to be my favorite. It must be that cool helmet and the hammer he can swing to knock out any villain!Leave a comment:
