mego astro ape mix :)

hi all..well over time of buying and collecting as we all do we end up with all bits and pieces...of anything and everything...ive managed to gather astro apes clothes, heads,and 1 boot.... but not been able to get the bodies or quick enough or lucky enough to find any on ebay complete

although ive not really been hunting them down.. .. after time of realising im not gonna find the astro bodies sometime soon..ive decided to fit them up with mego bodies..and the results im very happy with for now..the astro heads are more or less same as mego heads..and ive cleaned them up built them up and the results are below the post...

i would say the mego body would have been a much better body than the original astro bodies as they were not jointed at knees or elbows,wrists.. i would like to ask if any one can help me out with some boots...i know i wont get original boots but does anyone have any yellow boots of any kind /repro? that i could use to add a finishing touch?..pm me if you can help... im really begining to like these figures...

Dr Zorma is the only one i'm missing now, plus original shoes and neck piece for Myra. Strange that you should have the heads but not the bodies. How did that come about?

hi paul...i bought some job lots...with mainly mego..in there was also astro ape clothes and heads ... it wasnt till i saw they were in good shape i decided to make them up...i dont know what happened to the bodies?
why they were missing but other parts there i dont know..odd

Great find! Too cool to get a part lot like that. I enjoy lots like this almost better than finding a mint example. It's fun to customize with no guilt.
