should i go large or small S

I've come across an early type1 superman outfit on a type1 Superman and as usual the emblem is long gone and an emblems MEGO to me is a sad sight and he is crying out for a nice repo emblem
So should i go with the large S emblem or the standard S emblem
I'm not planing on saleing him he'll be just on display
i'm thinking of going large S and also puting one on back of his cape

Go with the large S emblem (more realistic). There's a gentlemen here at the Museum (actjac01) that makes "Awesome" Fabric/sticky Superman emblems (any style, front and back) that totally Rocks. He made this fabric S emblem on my latest Superman custom pictured below. In fact, i was so pleased with his work that i gave him this Chris Reeve (Superman) as a gift.

Non-fabric, I'd also go with "The
Toyroom" and/or "ThatBatmanguy" here at the Museum. Both make great looking emblems too.

Big "S". Just looks right on Superman:

"It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."

I say, do the one that reminds you of your love of comics. If you love the Alex Ross S, go for it! If Chris Reeve is your S-Man, do that. Me, Superman will ALWAYS be the one that Alex Toth designed for my introduction to superheroes, the Super Friends. So the question is, which S do YOU love?

I'm a true 70s child so to me Curt Swan is the Sman artist as he drew Superman at the time
