That host is Chabelo...a Mexican institution...the man-child persona...he has been entertaining kids for decades...a very positive role model...everybody in Mexico loves Chabelo...

Here's a very young Chabelo with the legendary Cantinflas...in the 60s film...el Extra...

        http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4O4FLYnFZ9Q

So as you can see...Chabelo has been wearing the shorts, and speaking in high-pitched voice...for over 40 years or so...

Awww yeah, Hec! Thanks for that clip, man!!
            He is SOOO funny!!

I really dig that early comedy and also found Mary Carmen of Spain through toy collecting. This clip features Rodolfo the Lion who is also 20 years older:

This right here is the Mego find of the 21st century!!!!

Even Myself and Mego God, Mark Huckabone never knew of the existence of the Ensueno Plastic Man, Spider-man and...gulp....Hulk!!! And when it comes to Elastics I know everything. I would say that probably a few hundred of these guys were released back in the day because Ensueno didn't release Batman and Superman until 1980. And once the Kenner/Mego lawsuit went into effect in July of that year production stopped. I'm betting no one has a Hulk, Spider-man, and Plastic Man.

I'm not kidding, this is one of the greatest finds I've ever seen and now death can come with a smile on my face.

The thing is I knew they were in the Ensueno production line and were going to be made. Batman and Superman were the first and most produced in the Ensueno line and then came Plastic Man, Hulk and Spidey. But I thought they never got produced because of the lawsuit with Kenner and Ensueno getting into the Elastic game late, 1980 to be exact and production halted in July of 1980. So this might lead me to believe that Hulk, Spidey and Plastic Man may have never made it into stores and the first wave might have just made it onto this show because why wouldn't Ensueno want the exposure to this new product on television. And if it did make it into some stores then I'm sure they weren't even there long before they were recalled. I would be very surprised if Hulk, Spider-man and Plastic Man are ever seen due to how small of an amount was actually put out. Batman and Superman are rare enough, so can you imagine the others?

I remember talking to Mark Huckabone about this and even he wasn't sure if they got released into stores or even made for that matter and if he doesn't know then it's essentially GOD not knowing!!

I'm seeing stars right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have discovered the lost Ark of the Covenant!!! Yes, it's that big of a deal. And I love how there are still more questions to ponder!!!!

The lady should have asked him if he had any Ensueno Elastico Hulks around from the old days. Think he would've had any idea what she was talking about?

Hi everyone.. I saw the YouTube videos of the elastico ensueno figures about a year ago and promised my ten year old son someday we would find the hulk.. Lol.. I know big promise... Well guess what we did!!!! Well mostly .. We have to my knowledge the only ensueno elastico hulk head.. It is so cool.. Different shade green.. More satin finish.. And a 1980 copyright on back.. It is awesome!!!!.. Just wanted to share with the mego world... Guess dad kept his promise after all .. Lol

Can you guess which hulk is the mego elastico one?
