FX - Greatest American Hero Reviewed

Hello all! The reason I started the thread in this particular "Buzz" section of the board is because there is no other one category I could think of it would fit into considering almost all of you long timers made this happen. Thank you again for all of that work.

I took quite a few pics including shots of the inside card art for those who may not have seen that before.

In the end I hope I do you all proud in my "The Wall" endeavor. I say it perhaps too much but I do appreciate and truly love all of you that make make the Mego Museum the greatest place on the planet.

I am a little disappointed that you omit any information about why the
figure was made, how it was made, or by whom.

The picture on the inside of the card was painted by Chris Casteel -
who talked me into making this figure for the 2007 FX show. The
head was sculpted by Scott Fensterer and I had them made in China.

The costumes were made by Chris using my red bodysuit. He and I
spent the night before the show assembling all 500 with some help.

Castaway supplied the clamshell - nothing else.

The only reason for the omission is that if given the opportunity I would LOVE to do a VERY indepth review about this and the AE version. As I stated at the start of the post, my knowledge about the figure is very limited outside of the facts on the back of the card and the info I've goten from here. So in essence my intent was to "remain silent and thought a fool" vs "opening my mouth and removing all doubt" until a future time when I could do the backstory proper.

Speaking of which, would you and all of the others of you be willing to schedule some interview time to create such an indepth review?

Jim - I am always happy to give the back story on what I have worked on.
And I understand and appreciate that you don't know the hows and whys
some of these small run figures came about.

I only chimed in because you have a journalist background and seem
to want to highlight these toys so it's important to get the story
straight from the start. Too many people still think MEGO went out
of business because they didn't make Star Wars toys.
