    California Mego

    Hi,

I know Mego is readily available online, but does anyone know of stores in California that sell them? I've been to Kelly's in Anaheim and that is along the lines I'm thinking.

    Thanks!

        Welcome aboard!

There a few stores near the Doll Museum, though their stuff is priced high.

He rarely has a MEGO, but I do find stuff at Big Lou's that makes me happy . . . plus it's just a hoot to be there!

Phat Collecibles, across the street from from Kelly's, occasionally has Mego as well.

              In LA,
Meltdown is one (overpriced) option, the other is Bryan's house.

Kelly's is the only place in Orange County at this time who actually has MEGO as one of the lines that they go out of their way to sell. Now if you go to the Antique Mall next to the traffic circle in the city of Orange, there's a really nice MEGO colletion there that someone has for sale. There are carded MEGO's and boxed. I'd have to say that as of now, those are the only 2 places that I could say that you should go to.

If anyone knows of another place here in Orange County or close by, please share with us!

Where in the circle? Name of store, or, street location, North of the circle, South of circle, etc?

I haven't been there in awhile and my take a trip to see these. Thanks.

                  Regards,

                  Geoff

I believe the store is called the Antique Mall. If you are heading east on Chapmanm and the circle is right infront of you, turn right on the street right there in the circle. Sorry I forget the name of that street. Go into the main entrance of the mall. Go into the the first room on the right. The Mego's are all the way in the back of that room. I'm sure that they are still there. They have been there for a long time.

Thank you all so much for the hospitality and the replies! I've loved Mego since I was a kid and have just recently started getting back to it. There are a few spots listed that I will definitely check out. I can't always afford them, but its still fun to see them :-)
