    Zip lock bags for Megos.

Where can I go offline to buy some clear bags for loose Megos? 6" x 9" would be good.

I use Wal-Mart's great value zip lock storage bags. They work great for storing all of my extra non minty Mego's.

For my more premium Mego's I use tennis ball tubes. The tough thing these days is finding them without the darn sticky labels on the outside of the cans. I managed to buy up a bunch with a removable non residue label. Then Wal-Mart changed their stock over to some different cans that now have a sticky label on the outside of the cans.

Enjoy what you like, and let others enjoy what they like. (C) Azrak 2009

Those tubes remind me of that old B&W 50's horror movie Attack of the Puppet People

The guy shrunk humans down and kept them in tubes like that

The thing with zip locks is you need to check the label and make sure it's acid free. especially if you're going to store them for a long time.

I tend to use acid free comic book bags for my loose Megos that I store away.

Regular lighter fluid for lighters, not sure about bbq lighter fluid, will take the residue off your cans. I use it to remove price stickers from off toys.

I had thought about going that route once before as it works great for removing bubbles from HW blister packaging. However, I was a bit leary of the lighter fluid due to the possible smell of butane as it pertains to Mego's.

In the mean time I have been using Goo Gone which seems to work pretty well. It would still be a lot better if I could just find the cans without the labels stuck on to begin with. Less hassle that way. Unfortunately, I just do not see them any more. ???

Thanks for the tip though. I am sure that it works.
