          Falcon,

There's nothing wrong with you. I just walked out of rehab for my 'Mego Madness'.....I'm told it's something that can be treated with plenty of electo-shock therapy which as tempting as that sounds I've put on hold momentarily. I'm not ready to kick the habit just yet! I have so many more items to add to my collection before going back to finish my treatment, LOL.

But look on the bright side.....there are far worse things in the world you could be besides a Mego-head junkie like the rest of us here on the forum. Addicts need to stick together. If you need a sponsor though during moments of weakness when you are having a bad case of the the 'Mego itch' and need someone to talk you through it just call on any one of us here.....we've all been through it and continue going through it. You're fine.....just a little obsessed with our lil' boys in blue (or red or green or any other color that Mego used for their figure lines) is all.

I'd recommend saying a few Hail Mary's and talking to your local priest about it or playing a few rounds of an ultra-violent video game to get all that built up guilt, anxiety, frustration, etc. out of ya! If that doesn't work......well there's always the one that works for me.......Take your 'lady' out on the town for a nice evening and then head back to the homestead for a nice relaxing evening of 'how's ya fawther'....that's one's always a crowd pleaser! Okay that'll be two cents please...you can just paypal me at [email protected] . Hope that helps buddy!

I have "the fever" again, too.

I caught it in November when I got one of my Holy Grail pieces (a black batcycle). Then I needed another Batman and Robin to display ON the batcycle. Then I saw a nice Joker. Then another Spidey to eventually make my Peter Parker changing into Spidey. Then I took a chance on this board and picked up a Shazam, Captain America...and I'm still on the hunt!

I'm on vacation this week and I spent the day cleaning up some Megos with Oxyclean. I was able to work wonders on Spidey. When I got him, his head had ink web marks and after a bath, he looks like he almost came off a late card! Tried working on an old Riddler, Captain America and a Joker (who I hope to transform into an Alex Ross inspired black tuxedo look). Anyway, I had a blast cleaning and decided to take the leap and began photographing some of my collection. Hope to start posting this weekend.

My wife came home and saw what I had been working on. I think she would agree with you, Falcon, that it is a sickness.

That is too funny! Did it feel like a kid caught trying to open a present under the tree before Christmas morning? I'm pretty fortunate that my wife just humors me and doesn't emasculate me for my 'Mego Madness' like some wives/girlfriends are prone to doing.

Yeah, my wife humours me, too. I think she knows there are more dangerous hobbies a man can acquire.

Now my daughter on the other hand...

Having watched Toy Story 3 for about the 20th time, she had a ball saying that, "Daddy is playing dress up with his dolls like Ken."
