Love the little SuperDeformed figures. Great way to leverage those awesome sculpts. I'll definitely be getting those for my SD collection. The best ones always have an element of caricature and humour involved. Maybe we'll see Bobble Heads!

Not all the figures are necessarily completely in my wheelhouse either, but there is definitely a lot of talent, passion, and enthusiasm behind the creation of these guys. Kudos to the creative talent squirreling away behind the scenes, you folks have pulled it off beautifully. Having seen the head sculpts up close, they are truly a work of art.

The little zombie Bush has his guts hanging out and I thought the Kennedy one was in poor taste. I dread the idea of news outlets coming here looking for some drummed up controversy.

I LOVE the idea of news outlets getting involved!! The exposure would be amazing!! Furthermore, either they are ALL in bad taste, or none of them are.

I have said I found them all in poor taste.

I find the little Bush Zombie in the poorest taste because his guts are actually hanging out.

I also personally wouldn't want negative media attention directed at the museum. In my opinion, yes, there is such a thing as bad publicity.

Gotta admit the monster version of the White House display looks cool. And I will get a couple of these for the costumes, but other than that I still have no interest in this line. I still don't get the idea behind this. The regular versions is another thing, I can see those being a huge succes

and even though he doesn't count because he was Prime Minister, not President, I would be amiss if I did not also point out our beloved Lester J Trudeau. Best known for his Multicultural "Polka Dot Door" policies in the seventies, that shaped Canada into the nation it is today. He graces our $25 bill.

How would it ever be directed at the museum in the media? I can see them going after Huckabee and Toy Tokyo,but that's about it...

Bingo! It's more likely that they go to any number of parents groups or patriotic organizations for their sound bite. It's only wishful thinking that they would come here to get quotes from members of the museum about their distaste.

It seems to me like the folks who say they wish to avoid controversy are best served to just ignore the stuff that aren't to their tastes. Commenting and posting it around the web only fans the flames of controversy they claim to want to stay away from... it's self fulfilling and giving publicity to the very thing you find offensive.

People both loving and hating something so publicly is usually a sign that the producers are doing something right... it's when the big resounding indifference occurs that they should be concerned.
