No not at all. I bought a figure off ebay from him a long time ago , and the head was freaking repainted ! Paul would never do that and pass it off as original and mint..... Be very wary of that guy.

I just spoke with Dr. (Paul) Mego today. I will be placing an order soon for parts to create some custom figures (will post what I am planning in the coming months as these customs will take some time to do right). Anyway I called the number on his site.....to my surprise I got to speak with him personally. What a nice guy....wish he lived closer. Long live Dr. Mego!!!

vintage figures and to sell the parts on ebay - something I hate to do.

His name is Chet Swartz - he lives in California - I live in New York.

On a side note, I have purchase a RC Batman from mr.mego recently. Good guy, good transaction. I would recommend the Doc first though. You'll get a better deal.

I have a few people who I've bought from for years. Rebel Toy is one of them. I've known them for a long time. I've never been ripped off once. Any MEGO's I've bought from him he always lets me know if it has any repro parts. I've bought many other toys besides MEGO from him. I've never paid more than what an item was valued at.
