Lion Rock Wolfie courtesy of Roberto. I'm a happy boy today.
Those look like they may be the wrong boots. Lion Rock Frank and Wolfie have different boots than the Mego T1 and T2 versions.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
Nice Wolfman. Is he the hardest to find of the T2 Mad Monsters? Or would it be Dracula? I just have a T2 Frankie, I wasn't trying to get one specifically, I just bought a boxed Frankenstein and that's what ended up being inside.

Yep, the Boots are regular Mego Boots. If it was the variation boots it would have been a lot more expensive
The Variation Boots I've had once...and that was 2 or 3 years ago.
There are variations on the Type 2 Wolfie tops also. Ron (stabilio) had every variation of all the Monsters I have ever seen at the Meet this year...Did anyone take pics?

"When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
The beauty that surrounds them
Isn't it a pity".
I have been waiting a while to post these new acquisitions until I had the display set up. I also had to find a case that was good enough for the set. Then I had to customize it to display them properly. So, without further ado...
Oh, have to add my very grateful thanks to Lonnie for allowing me to add to my collection, something I have wanted for some time. I have been asking him on and off about them and he finally got sick of my bugging him and gave in. So, NOW without further ado... The most recognized set in the Mego community...
These beauties are even more impressive in person. Gem Gem mint. Not a flaw anywhere. It's a testament to Mego collectors how well preserved these are. I had to chuckle when Brian made the comment about seeing some figures change hands several times throughout the years. These have certainly made the rounds and still are as perfect as when they were sealed in the boxes.
Also, many thanks to Joe for allowing these gorgeous Popys to grace my collection. They look great displayed with my Secret Identity figures.
Wow, how did I miss this post, awesome Scott. I did ask Lonnie about these awhile back too but really happy that you got them. (Me next )
Great looking Popys too. All in all, impressive additions and display. Mego rules !!!
