Mego 50th boots have a new mold from DM.
    Thank you kind Sir !

You are a wealth of information.

    No DM on the boots.

Boots are glossy and just like the vintage ones.

I think that the Big Topps figure is all original and the FTC was just changed to a Type S body.

I could just ask the seller since he ordered these online, he just got tired of having these. Pretty certain he has lots more but didnt want these anymore.

The FTC figure is still available for sale on the site:

Actually the more I look at Kelly Bundy, I think she would make a good, tv show M*A*S*H* character Margaret Houlihan, Loretta Swit.

Allof these can make a Star Trek figure. I wasnt aware that the Farrah figure was looking on the side... wonder if i can paint the eyes back straight.

Mego should do a MASH line.

Been looking for some soldier apes in Canada for the past year and none to be found so turned to the U.S. market and placed an order. This came in today, I now have some soldier apes.

Mail Call. Since the Avengers set is sold out and saw that the Fantastic Four sets are still available at some Disney Store, decided to get in contact with Lost Boys Treasures - Disney Personal Shopper to try and get 2 more sets of the Fantastic Four. Thank you Lost Boys Treasures - Disney Personal Shopper for the great service.

Nice pick up, just the artwork itself makes it worth while.

                      Thanks!

Also great to put the variant versions of the sets in boxes.

Nowhere near as good as some of the recent pick-ups above, but yesterday I did receive the Samurai and Hawkman figures that I ordered directly from Figures Toy Company. Both are from their Super Friends line. Over several years, I was able to aggregate most of the Challenge of the Superfriends/Super Powers Team Galactic Guardians heroes and villains, via a combination of Mattel's prior Mego-like DC characters + Modern Mego + FTC's Super Friends line from about 8-10 years ago (I think).

What am I missing: three by choice (Solomon Grundy, Grodd, and Giganta - as I just didn't think the FTC versions looked as much like the characters as I preferred), and 'the one that got away': the FTC Apache Chief.

Why buy Hawkman and Samurai from FTC now? I had been waiting for the new Mego Hawkman figure, but candidly have become increasingly less confident as time passes that it would be released. Plus I thought the FTC Hawkman looked really good (except the wings). Plus it was on sale for $19.99, and the Samurai figure was in a polybag for $14.99. So buying both now (with limited remaining stock) seemed to me to be a good deal for two figures I really liked.

That said, this purchase brought back to mind several years ago, when I had Apache Chief in my cart at the FTC online store. But I didn't finalize the purchase at the time, for whatever reason, and now that figure is long out of stock. Oh well.....

                            Congrats on the new purchases.

I was looking at those but since I dont have any of the Super Friends figures I passed on them. Its a very nice line but prices on the aftermarket are crazy on them. Man I hate these aftermarket prices...

I was able to pick up a loose Hawkman FTC figure recently and really like it but agree the wings suck. Still better to have one then not.

An Apache Chief could show up for you later, never lose hope !

Re Apache Chief. CTVT still sells the head outfit and boots. I assume the outfit includes the scarf and cuffs. The original figure looked like it was on a regular body. Wouldn't kit bashing be possible? That's what I'm thinking of doing. The backer cards seem to be sold out so SOL there, but a loose one is still possible.

I wonder if the CTVT Apache Chief head will fit on the Type S body? and with the outfit and boots still available, it would be a sweet looking custom. You can always order a repro backer card from the Toyroom.
