Here's a lot I recently picked up for about $68 shipped. It came in a worn Mego case, and Superman, Robin & Spidey have obvious wear. However, Falcon is pretty minty and Tarzan is mint with the rubberband under his tunic, though no knife. The best piece is the canvas-shorts Aquaman, who looks card-fresh except for the missing 'A.' I'm pretty happy for $68.

One of them did come from the UK with the Rood girl lot. That also had the wedding dress and complete Folksinger outfit.
Yes, they are addictive.
I hadn't really intended on collecting Dinah but once I started I couldn't stop. Interestingly I started collecting Dinah because I kept getting outbid on other Mego lots by "Mr. Pictures" who wins EVERYTHING.
Oddly the materials are totally different. Dinah's is one piece and made from a boot-type plastic while AJ's is a brittle hard plastic with a separate lid.
Yeah, I think there's probably a lot of variants in the Dinah stuff. For example the boots that came with this folksinger set are the same as her original white short boots but in yellow while the gallery shows yellow shoes. In fact I can't find any outfit in the gallery with these boots but they are definitely Dinah.
I also wonder if maybe those overseas sets may be a slightly different than the US ones?

Nice score.
I'm curious about the Tarzan rubberband. Any pics of it?
I'm just wondering for those who like to make their's factory-correct because it would be cool to have a reference to work from when trying to track down a replacement rubberband.
I have some that I feel are probably pretty close to what he came with but I have never seen one so it's only a guess.

I picked up a Trek Bridge playset... I used to have one years ago but never had a vintage command chair or console - and this set had a matching blue pair. (Shaft keeps popping up in all the dioramas - I don't know why)
I also picked up a minty Morrow head to put on my Space: 1999 palitoy body... I have a nicer Alan Carter on the way plus a few other boxes I can't wait to get in and postLast edited by Tothiro; Jul 22, '10, 1:51 AM.Comment
