Well, from Steelcouch I got a POTA Sun reflector, and from Critter2 I got a POTA treehouse! It'll go great w/ my POTA village and POTA Dida tri-box.

I've got to give a shout out to Critter2 as well - A fantastic boxed POTA catapult set (replacing the loose wagon and rocks I had but sold a few years ago) came from the UPS man a few days ago. Not only did it stoke my POTA joy, but it kindled a newfangled love of marker art toy box packaging. It's so five-and-dime I could just scream (in a good way?).

I also picked up another one of those Tong Ninja dudes: Which I guess no one knew came in gray (I sure didn't)

                Bo Duke..Yee Haw!

This is one I've wanted for a while but kept forgetting to look for. I also realized it was a unique opportunity. If a found a beater card I could get an unplayed with one on the cheap. So I picked this guy up for $25. I figured "I'll just put in my last Doc Mego knee pin"

The bubble was already damaged so I few more cuts and I was able to remove him.

He arrived but it didn't work out so easily as the pin didn't fit. I went to the museum tutorial page on knee pin removal and after several unsuccessful attempts finally freed a knee pin from a CTTV body. This worked out better as not only was it the right size, I got to use the half of the original knee pin that wasn't broken.

Finally Bo is ready for the reunion!

There are either a lot of closet Mego collector's buying everything up in my area or people have thrown them all away. ???? I think I have found a total of maybe five Mego's in the wild in the last 3 years. Those of which were pretty much naked but in tact. I do get out pretty often to. Mainly thrift stores. I really need to start going to the toy shows again though. Maybe my odds of finding some really cool Mego's would change then.

My problem is with the toy shows is that I buy too much stuff. Between three houses and a very large garage I am bulging at the seams with stuff. LOL! My gf tells me that I have waayy to much stuff. Ahh....What does she know anyway. LOL!

Too much space. Need more toys!
