If that was the Leela that went out on ebay a bit ago, I was eyeballing that one rather hard. Good pickup. I believe she was complete with the knife stuck in the hairband?

I remember you talking about how much you wanted one a while back. Good to see it come true! A green Palitoy carded figure is a thing of beauty!

Nothing major, but I picked up a couple things recently:

I went to the Clarance, NY flea market last Sunday (a very, very poor substitute for going to Mego Meet for the weekend I'm sure!) and picked up a couple Fighting Yank outfits. Not in the greatest condition, I mostly got them because: 1) I can't pass up a cheap Mego "in the wild" and 2) I hate leaving a flea market empty handed and couldn't find anything else good. Plus, I got a pretty good deal, as the colourful flea market seller told me "I ain't married to my stuff for sale like a lotta guys around here are, if you know what I mean!" Flea markets are worth it just to be able to meet and talk to characters like this guy. Now I'm looking for some Fighting Yank bodies to put these outfits on.

I also finally finished my 12" Star Trek line with the toughest figure in the set, Decker. His face has almost no greying either, which probably means that I should keep him packed away in the dark to keep him like that. *sigh*

Thanks, it took me over a year to finally get one I was happy with. And in a very weird twist of fate, I ended up actually getting two Deckers in one week! I don't know how that happens. Long story, but because of the first one (on ebay) I ended up stumbling upon a second boxed one for sale on some obscure website for 20 bucks.

Nice scores Chris, I almost went to Clarence on Sunday myself but I missed the exit and I was kind of sleepy. Managed the Husky flea market on the way home, woot!

I find it's easy for me to overlook the 12" Trek movie line, but the package art and design is really special and very dramatic.

                          Congrats Chris.

The shoes in the FY Ski Patrol set are unique too see. White tennis shoes?
Usually they come with short white boots. It looks like 1960s FY dress shoe mold was used here. I think they used plastic instead of rubber to mold with.
                            Interesting!

The dress Pilot is also an unusaul color/fabric. Varations abound with all the FY stuff so have fun with it. Nice score Mego in the wild,

I just looked again at the FY Pilot set. Are there beads or metal rivits on the pockets and trim?

The Husky flea market, it's been a while since I've been there. The dealer turn out at Clarence was the best I've seen there in sometime, tons of tables. I just wish I could have found more.

Yeah, I thought it odd that the Ski set came with white shoes instead of the boots pictured on the back of the box. They do look like the same mold as the black dress shoes.

Those are little sewn on beads on the Air Force dress uniform. The picture on the back of the box seems to show some kind of medal (?) decoration above the left front pocket that is missing on my outfit. But as you say, variations probably abound with these.
