New Mego Acquisitions? Got any?

The last Mego I saw at my comic shop was in the glass case a couple years ago. He had a Mummy.

I'd rather not post on the public forums exactly how much I paid for them, but I will say that I've paid less than $275 total for all three Titans that I have. I think I got a pretty good deal.

Those are Some Fantastic looking Teen Titans. I would of freaked out If I saw them in the local Comic Book store

What's funny is that the others the shop had were pretty sad. But the fact that there WERE others was just as amazing to me as finding decent Titans for a nice price.

Haven't had much to post recently but that changed when I lucked out on this boxed Leela a couple of weeks ago for a song. Seller couldn't have been a nicer guy either.

I put the box in the back of this display but the doll is just clean, I love her.



Anybody else get a shiney new Mego this week?

Look see what I found.....(Don't go getting your hopes up it really isn't that big of a score unfortunately)

Believe it or not the very first thrift store that I stopped at today....I could not believe my eyes. There was a tub of Barbies so I started looking through them as my gf collects Barbies. I was amazed to find these two Mego's in the wild today. The main reason is that I am so amazed as that it is very rare that I even find Mego's in the wild. These two makes the third and fourth Mego that I have ever found in the wild in a two year span of hunting. They sure are not like getting something nice and mint on card believe me, but they will suffice for now at least. Bo Duke and Starsky amongst some older Barbies that I picked up for my gf.



I also found this pair of green boots. Too bad they are in not so great of shape. I was hoping to use them for my Lucky Penny custom that I will do some day. Note: That Starsky's foot had broken off as I put him into my shopping cart. Although that poses no real problimo for me as I have plenty of replacement parts. Being that it is a Mego I went ahead and took him anyway.

Lastly, Here is Bo Duke in some kind of contraption that I had found elsewhere today. He fits in the contraption pretty good even know that this is not a Mego toy. I am always looking for Mego like scale stuff when I am on the hunt.

Again, Not much, but it sure beats finding nothing.
