I posted this in the Urban Safari post but I figured I would share it here as well. My biggest Mego score since I began collecting.

I got the Spider-Van for $5 and the Cast-a-way Dr. Jekyll for $14. The Spider-Van is going to storage till next year and I get a 3-D printer to finish up on the van. It is the same van that was used to make C.H.i.P.s van.

My First WGSH!

After first learning of them almost thirty years ago, I finally acquired a WGSH! I consider myself more a fan of Mego than a collector, as I've long been out of collecting much other than wrestling, but I do own about 10-15 Mego items total. Although I have a Fonz and Zaius 8 inch that I found at flea markets over the years, I never did get my hands on a WGSH. I finally decided that at the next Steel City Con I would finally purchase a cheap WGSH. Mxyzptlk was one of my top choices since I never had a figure of him. He was on whichever cartoon I watched as a child (I think Super Friends), but since I only had Super Powers and Toybiz figures, he's the one villain that I didn't have. Came across a table with rag tag Mego's, and there he was. No broken pieces on the body, which sealed it for me. The purple fringe may be tattered and missing in some places, and I guess there was a sticker on the belt, but I love him. He's not as grand as the great collections on here, but I'm very excited. I only paid $10 which I figured was ok for a commoner, and at Steel City Con you often see Mego's in far worse shape for more. My first WGSH!
