New Mego Acquisitions? Got any?

Yeah I got three cases as well, any idea as to their worth?

I recognized the holders from the one I had as child. Last time I checked out of curiorsity, less than $20. Much like most collectibles the carrying cases by themsleves don't seem to be a hot item.

Yeah, I figured. Collector cases are always kind of low tier. I was going to put $8 a pop on them at the next toy show.

I went into a antique store today and as I was looking around I spotted 3 and 3/4 inch Mego Draconian Guard from Buck Rogers and a 3 and 3/4 inch Decker from Star Trek and surprisingly got them both for 20 bucks. A good way to start 2013.

I just scored this sweet custom Iron Man....needs a belt but I think someone listed Him on the bay because I was asking where to get the head on here.
Someone from here listed just the head and right after up came the custom Iron Man I originally wanted.

I also saw at our local flea market a removable cowl Batman wearing an original beat up Mego Batman costume with no accessories for 75.00.
I was going to explain to the vendor what was wrong with this on so many levels,but simply walked away from it.
This Guy didn't care and probably will sell to some unfortunate soul that doesn't know the difference.

And this was My first Mego purchase last week since the 70s.
Should have looked here first,but was really brand new to the game,and just bought another one for a better price last night.
Glad I got Him though,My 9 year old Loves looking at Him and we keep Spidey close while watching the 67 animated series,just as I did as a young boy.
He isn't perfect,but its going to be special as its the first for My son and I to begin collecting.

Seeing this and the value of the figures,My boy decided not to open the new Hasbro Spiderman and Venom figures He got at TRU.
He will be a collector,just like Me.
