I'm sure this isn't a big deal to you "old guys" but I haven't had Megos since I was a kid. My wife and I have an on-line business (we're pickers) and as I mentioned in another thread, I got a plastic crate of Mego WGSH, Star Trek, Oz, CHiPs and various parts... I'm keeping Superman (never had him before but always wanted), Batman (I wish he was the RC Batman I had as a kid), Robin, Captain Marvel and Spider-Man.
I can tell these are pretty common WGSH, but I'm restoring them (Batman and Spidey are done... my wife is sewing on a new belt for CM, Superman's cape needs to be reattached and Robin's oven mitts are on order) and it's fun! It's part of my childhood recaptured.
I feel so sorry for kids who only know little plastic slug "action figures"...Comment

I picked up the Italian magnetic S.T.A.R. figure last week. Man, what a great toy. It's bigger (nearly 7" tall), heftier (probably due to the magnets and metal parts inside) and cooler than I thought it would be. We really got screwed as kids here in North America by not having these toys. Interesting fact: the arms are molded to look like Micronaut arms (just like the smaller S.T.A.R. actually had) but the wrists are not articulated, it only looks like it is made like a Micronaut. But the magnetic joints rule, I love magnemo figures! Now I have my sights on a Maximillian to complete the set.

Looks great with all black Robot S.T.A.R!! I think I've not see him for a long time, is that super rare?
BTW, what's "S.T.A.R" stands for? Can't remember....Comment

Picked up a boxed Baron Karza from a guy who posted a kijiji ad. it was my first time using that service. Paid $25 (complete but rough box). Also picked up some Starcom toys. In related news passed on a really nice Cher doll at the thrift shop. Not sure why I did, but probably because it's Cher.Comment
