Came across a few things today...MEGO Batman Bank, MEGO Dorothy (I couldn't pass her up for $4.00) and the "V" Visitor figure...also came across a great boxed 1978 Knickerbocker Superman (will post a pic of him in the non-Mego thread)...not a bad day for local pickups!

Nice finds. I just went to a flea market near Chicago and wow...it sucked. There was a guy there with a MIB RC Batman. Looked like a repro emblem and the cello was not firmly attatched. He was asking $750.00 Another dealer had a few loose ones, but he was stupid priced. Catwoman (Not silkscreen) for $300.00 etc......

I wish I could find some MEGO's worth buying....

I hit a toy show yesterday in St. Louis I usually frequent and picked up a boxed RC Batman and boxed Robin, both T1's and Batman has the slick nylon shorts(or whatever you call it) and stirrups. Neither box is particularly nice, but have the inserts. The guy I got them from got them just the day earlier, so they were in the wild until recently. Both were played with, but they aren't in too bad a shape. I posted a WTB in the marketplace looking for a glove for each of them as they each only had one glove, and a cape for Batman. I'd like to upgrade Batman's boots too as they were chewed on at some time, LOL.

Picked up a Buck Rogers Star Fighter yesterday NM condition...only problem is it's missing the front landing gear piece, so if anyone has one sitting around in a spare parts box or has a trashed Star Fighter with the leg and would be willing to sell or trade for it, let me know! Of course now I'll need to get more of the figures and a Marauder!

Haven't posted my acquisitions in a while....have quite a few new pieces in the last few months.


I also picked up a set of the new 8" KISS figures. I'm not that impressed with the bodies (super difficult to pose, at least mine were) but I'm a diehard KISS fan, so these were a must...and are easier to display than my original MEGO KISS dolls.




Lastly I picked up a super minty Spiderman Type 2 this past week c/o marcmegomaniac.
He is flawless...looks like he came right off the card! Also picked up the recent reprint/reissue of the first appearance of Spidey to display with him...since it'll be quite a while before I can get my hands on an original copy.

I picked up the elusive gray horse. I now have all 6 (both AJs, Dinah, West, Apes and Gray). I also have both racers and all 4 campers. Slowly working on my toy room. More (and better) pics to follow.
