Cast-A-Way Toys sneaks us a look at Jesse James

Cast-A-Way toys has given the Museum a sneak peak at their upcoming Jesse James figures, specifically their card art by Tim Baron, which is wonderfully reminiscent the look of Gray Morrow's original Mego American West line.

Watch for more developments on Jesse James shortly.

that looks great. No pardon for JJ, but he gets some great card art and Mego love.

Wait a sec.....just re-read the post. Are we calling Jesse James a "Hero"?? Maybe it should read "Outlaws".

Very cool. I remember them talking about a Jesse James figure at Mego Meet 2010 and showing an early prototype. Unfortunately, I didn't take a good picture of the prototype, but you can kind of make it out in some of these pictures: Castaway Toys at Mego Meet 2010 - Laser Mego

Can't wait to see what the final figure looks like.

Dave tells me it's different from the MegoMeet version.

Now don't get all upset when I point out a problem with the card. I know how some of you react...
The card art says, "recommended for for all children over 3 years of age". Just a little mistake, but I thought I should point it out.

Nice job Tim! Mr. Morrow is well served here.

Great catch Lonnie... we get too close sometimes and little stuff gets by us. We will sure fix that boo boo... Like Palitoy said this is MM exclusive sneak peek, posted nowhere else. We really wanted to go the WWMD (What Would Mego Do) route and keep it simple but nice. The legends figures seemed to get the best of Mego in clothes and accessories, so that's what we wanted to do here.

Tim's artwork as you see it here will be an oversized info/trading card, the actual card will be a bit more historical... we posted it awhile back...
