Well, more likely than not I'll be pulling some booth-monkey duties at these:

at least one day at Motor City Nightmares

same weekend I may be at Flint Comix Con. (more info on facebook)

Maybe the whole weekend at MotorCityComicCon

    A day at Detroit FanFare

THEN we've just announced Flint Horror Con
that one is still a ways out, and we've not putting much info out for a while, but it will be a horror convention in downtown flint in the newly remodeled Riverfront Banquet Center (we'll have about 5,000sqft) more to come, as I am one of the organizers of this badboy.

And YES, I'll be headed there too.

Frankly, I'd rather hit Joecon than WizardWorld Miami Con.
LZ, we may be there in a more.. ahem... "official capacity", but even if not I'll be on the look out for ya

I have worked Wonderfest in Louisville every year for the past 15 years. Actually voted the number one convention in the country in 2009. For those of you who have never seen it, you should give it a try some time. We have people from as far away as Japan attend the show.

It's just the magazines that got folded up to make the IPO for Wizard World more appealing. Not sure that bodes well given the pressure of publicly traded companies is always about the bottom line and making profits for the investors.

I suspect Wizard World is already well on it's way to becoming the Starbucks of Comic Book/Entertainment conventions. Hopefully Paradise Comics is still involved in Wizard World Toronto, they are my local comic shop and good folks.

I'm considering giving Fan Expo one more go... but only on the added Thursday to try and avoid the ridiculous crowds of Saturday and Sunday. This past year was so ludicrous... from lining up for hours with a so-called VIP pass, to not being able to move or even have any room to browse. I left early Saturday and gave my weekend pass to some poor schmuck in line that was never going to get in. I heard later that folks with passes that went to grab some lunch weren't allowed back in because they had reached capacity.

Locally, it's TCAF that I look forward to the most...

And Mego Meet was such an incredibly positive experience last year, I'm looking forward to going again this year.
