Any word on Hasbro yet?

I'd like to see them get in the game if they're truly in the right scale. Toy Biz, Playmates, and Hasbro have all gotten it wrong on their previous Mego-esque attempts.

I'm sure Hasbro is hesitant due to the poor performance of the 9" Signature Series figures, which in their mind was pretty close to Mego figures. I know that they had Mego style in mind when the did those figures, you can even see that they used the circle/headshot design element on the packaging.

I dunno about hasbro, but I am curious about Captain Action getting a shot at superhero costumes. There are plans for the 12" CA to have Marvel suits. - Spidey, Captain America, Thor have been mentioned. I wonder what would it take to get that license for the 8" Captain Actions? It is probably not financially reasonable for the CAW guys, but it sure would be cool.

Well, Toy Fair is coming up soon. Hopefully we'll get some more exciting new licenses for 8" Mego-like figures.
