    HAW!

That's it! Woman's Day used to REALLY kick schmenge! The Supercity plans were something you sent away for, and I had them when I was a kid; but we only managed to build the skyscraper. Currently the only thing I HAVEN'T built is the phone booth. And it's in the works right now. (Along with a very special Mego scale vehicle...)

The plans aren't quite as bad as made out here; but they are a little weird. Some of the measurements are a bit off. No biggie; they're easy to correct while you're building it. Some of the measurements are off too. The loading ramp is WAY small for 8" figs, but perfect for 3.5" ones. That, and the window placement on some of the buildings almost makes me think it was originally gonna be for 3.5" figures.

Some of the buildings could do with a bit of tweaking. The stairs in the bank are in the way, and would work better if you put them along the inside wall instead of across the back. Same with the slide/escape chute in the townhouse.

The book of Best Loved Toys and Dolls ALSO has the OTHER greatest Woman's Day project: the Outer Space Station. Had the plans for this when I was a kid too, but never built it. It's made of wood; and requires a lot of special tools I didin't have as a kid. (I have them NOW; and if I can find room I was gonna build the space station too.) They'd published plans for Hoth and Dagobah playsets as well.

Wow HG that is cool! Wish I had the time and room to build that. I think Don aka ctc has already built the city or is working on it.

          That's it! Someday.....

A few years back there were plans for a toy scaled cantina (movie accurate) in an issue of "Star Wars Gamer."

I'm eventually gonna need a bigger house...

That's very cool stuff! Someday I'll make those buildings for my Mego WGSH in the future. So, that'll helps me to saving alot of buck$ than original Batman Bruce Wayne Foundation Playset. If anyone who have repro Bruce Wayne Foundation for sale, I'll buy it!

            Thanks for sharing!

Those were the days when you actually built your own fun. BTW, did you notice Batman wearing Batgirl's cowl?

                Great find HG.

I actually found these about 10 years ago or so and went to the library and found the original magazine article in some book and copied the plans.

                Very cool indeed!
