Definitely. But then, there's not a bad word to say about these. The sculpts, the clothes, the bodies, the accessories, it's all good

It's great to see these finally out there. These were the first figures
that BBP approached us about - and it has always been a personal
                favorite of mine.

I'm going to buy two Flashes and make one with his T-shirt from the movie's beginning. I'll need a Mego scale football too. Very, very cool figures. Took a while, but the wait has been worth it.

These both look great in my opinion, very nicely done, but I still don't get what all the fuss is about regarding the new swivel biceps. The bicep is cut in half! Does it really add that much more articulation/playability? The original Mego body style is very playable. To quote Mister Horse, "Nope. I don't like it."

It allows him to be posed with his hands on his hips

For displaying, that's a big plus

Yes, yes it does. Did you see that shot of Flash holding his sword properly?

But if you choose to body swap it, I'd be happy to take that old nasty swivel bicep one off your hands....

Looking at it again, was just thinking ... with a little retooling of the hair and eyebrows it would make a decent Christopher Reeve sculpt.

Ming is one of the best Retro Megos of all time. Flash might need a repaint. The costuming is fantastic on both figures but Flash might benefit from a flesh colored shirt to cover his joints. The elbow joint seems really big to me. The packaging is HUGE!!! BBP could save money and I would save wall space if they cut that packaging down by 1/4. These issues are minor and both Ming and Flash are excellent figures that I've been waiting 30 years to see.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.
