It's been a while.....

....since I hit a really good mego score in the wild. Got these today at a new flea market I went to. I'll probably go again. Wondergirl suit is really nice. Gobby suit is really clean with only a loose snap. He needs a foot. Lizzy is nice with a small spot that should clean up. Got a suit for Riddler so he'll be complete too. Actually did really well on a number of my purchases today. I'll recoup enough to cover what I paid for this lot fairly easily.

Believe me that's exactly what I thought when I saw this flea market. Drove over an hour to get there but since the end of yard sale season I was itching so I made the drive. What a hole in the wall but I guess you can't judge a book by the cover. Made 4 or 5 other buys that were dirt cheap and will net a decent return. Temp was in the high 30's low 40's and there were still about 20 dealers set up outside. Times are tough so I guess they're going to stretch the season as long as they can. Glad they did.

He said he got this lot in an auction. If there were any Barbie items, it probably would have ended up in that lot.

great score ... indeed.... getting these in the wild is pretty tough now...ive only ever actually got a beat up mego batman,corneilious and a half decent alan carter in my years of garage/carboot sales.. in the wild....

before i got to know as much about megos as i do now i remember walking buy a set of four mego boxed pirates and a loose thing on a boot sale .....i didnt know much about megos at all then... and i always have a flashback of those pirates and kick myself :(
