For some reason, I bought a US release Bond Moonraker, complete with Zombie Head and broken knee pin. He looked beyond terrible.

I got a replacement DM knee pin, and with a little controlled violence, made it fit. Then I set about degreying his ugly, little head.
I have NO doubt that had I followed the tutorial EXACTLY, my results would have been perfect. Instead, I applied my favorite maxim for doing pretty much anything, which is; "Twice as fast, half as good." I could cut corners off a perfect circle folks.
Instead of using the exact materials specified in the tutorial, I used what I had laying around the basement. I chuckled to myself at the part that suggested 3 or 4 treatments over the course of 3 or 4 days, and set about administering 6 treatments in 2 days.
Amazingly enough, my half a$$ed approach took the grey off quite nicely. Unfortunately, it also took off a lot of paint. Since I was pretty darn happy about the degrey itself, I asked Dave what he could do about the paint. He said to send the thing along and he would have a look at it. I got it back today, and it looks like this...

And I mean it looked like total crap when I sent it off. James looked like he had a bad case of mange. I may not know what I like, but I know art when I see it! DaveMc is the Michelangelo of Mego heads! Thanks a million Dave!!
