The closest I ever came to Star Trek alien Megos when I was a kid..

...was in this 1979 book I just stumbled across in my basement. I had a well-loved bridge and crew but never saw aliens except for this picture.

When we moved from South Carolina back to Alabama when I was in the 6th grade my best friend and next-door neighbor gave me a Neptunian as a going-away gift. It was years before I knew what his name was or even what it came from. I didn't have the Treks as a kid and really don't remember if he did or not. I still have it in my collection.

I never saw them as a kid.. By the time they would have been around, I'd since moved on to Space:1999, which is STILL my all-time favorite show.

I never saw anything but the Klingon (Which I had) and the Keeper, the Gorn, and the Cheron at TRU in the 70s. To which little 8 year old me went "Have it, was a dummy, Lizard dressed like a Klingon (which I really did think even back then), and they both are left to die on their planet at the end of the episode. I never wanted or got them. Now I wish I had asked
        It's all good!

I had Cheron as a kid. I still remember the drug store where I got him. The funny thing is, I never had Spock; just Kirk, Uhura and Cheron.
Nostalgia just ain’t what it used to be.

Only ever remember seeing Talos, who hung on a shelf at Eatons for what seemed like years. I'd never seen "the menagerie" and went through life thinking it was Dr Sevrin from "The Way to Eden".
