I was at a local flea market yesterday and there was a Mego Planet of the Apes Village Playset there. It had the original box,all the pieces were there plus the instructions, the box had a little wear and tear in the corners but other than that it was in great shape. It looked like the batcave but for the Planet of the Apes figures, the vendor was selling it for $150.00.If he had the Batcave I'd probably would have taken it.It just goes to show that there still is some old, original mego items still out there. If I knew someone who wanted it and had the money,I'd go get it for them but until I find a Mego Batcave It will still be there. Thanks for letting me share my find.

It is still great to know that stuff still lurks and is stashed in hidden places,I think sometimes just seeing stuff like that has just as much of a rush as buying.I'm sure you'll come across that Batcave you seek sooner or later, just keep combing through those fleamarkets. -
i see Mego stuff at flea markets all the time, unfortunately it is usually ridiculously priced and/or in terrible conditionComment

Or the most common items such as a T2 Batman with nothing but the bodysuit.
Usually combined with the two factors you mentioned as well.
