Mego spotting: Happy Days, 1978

The Hub played two Halloween episodes of "Happy Days" back to back last night. The 2nd one was called "The Evil Eye", from 1978. The plot was an old witch Al knew cursed him with her evil eye, and used a voodoo doll to make Al's right hand do odd things. Ritchie and the gang were trying to convince Al it was all in his head, and came up with a fake ceremony to lift the curse.

The witch came in during the ceremony and put more mojo on Al. Fonzie showed up, and to prove the witch was full of bunk, pulled out his own voodoo doll. It was Mego's very own Fonzie figure! The witch grabbed the figure and proceeded to twist it and make Fonzie do all sorts of weird things. But Fonzie was just playing to prove to Al it was all in his head.

Pretty cool little cameo by the epitome of Happy Days merchandise!

you know ,i forgot about that,isaw that as a kid,its kind of like when you saw the mego wonder women 12 figure,and the pocket hero wonder women on that show.wonder women was spying and looking around the house and picked up the 12 figure for a moment,cool.

It was cool but the doll wasn't mego it was a Tuesday Taylor dressed as wonder woman but I don't remember the pocket hero WW? Was it the same episode?

tuesday taylor,interesting, it looked like a wonder women,the pocket hero wonder women was seen in the same episode on the table,i have wonder women on dvd,ill have to watch it again,i think it was in season 2 or 3 ,its been a while

It was cool but the doll wasn't mego it was a Tuesday Taylor dressed as wonder woman...

I'm not surprised...that Mego WW 12 inch doll is just one loooooong piece
of plastic... and because of that, not that visually impressive...it would have
been nice if it had more mass, but I guess it was made it was just made
that way to accomadate the "fashions" that the doll had made (or
prototyped) in conjunction with the doll....indeed, dressed as Diana Prince,
the doll looked pretty good.
