The Mummy is the only Mad Monster I owned as a kid, so I have a soft spot for him. That card is just awesome. (I like the Universal monster movie quotes in the posts too)

Scott and Brian, the cards look great (as usual!).

Thanks to Charlie B, too, for helping to fill in the Mummy gallery!

The cards are getting lots of attention, thanks. But please don't overlook the gallery revamp. The Mad Monsters have been under served for a long time and Brian and Charlie did a lot to make them really shine!

The Mummy is the only monster I didn't own as a kid. If I'd seen this instead of the actual lame figure, I might've bought one. I still would've been disappointed by the actual figure, but I would've been stuck with it.

Brian and Scott deserve all the credit here.

All I did was put off taking pictures until the last possible moment, even though Brian asked me back in early Aug.

I would like to personally thank Brian and Scott for all the work they put into this site. They have full time jobs, are both married and have/are having kids, not to mention the time Scott has put into Dida Displays and Brian has put into PlaidStallions.com.

These trading cards and new galleries don't just appear out of thin air. If you really stop to think about it, the time they put into this hobby is mind numbing, and that shouldn't be taken for granted.

I think that's enough asskissing for now...

                      No, no, carry on.

I think I photographed this Mummy in April or something. I've been thinking about the cards for a long while and some of the background art was started for the first round of Dida art a year ago. So, it's not as fast as it looks, but I did get a whole lot done in the last couple of weeks. Doing the cards is relaxing for me because I can do whatever I want.

I don't know guys, this one really sucks. I strating to beilieve you're kind of phoning it in anymore. I really expect the free things I get on the internet to have a bit of a higher quality level.

Of course, I'm just kidding. I'm just a bit bored pouring the praise on these bad boys every time we get to see the amazing finished product. The lighting on the figures has consistently made these guys look sincerely scary and the backgrounds are tons of fun. The effort put into these really shows.

And thank, Rob, for helping to make this happen,

                          wrapped this up nicely...

Love that photo angle. The design has great eye flow and the angular look to the right foot is a nice touch. Gives it a 'dragging-behind' kind of look.
                          Kudos!
