I saw an amazing Amphicat on a space 1999 website pictured with a CTVT Paul Morrow. Took me ages to obtain it and when I actually got one, my worst suspicions were confirmed - it turned out to have been a 4" figure scaled plastic vehicle Photoshopped to be Paul Morrow scale.

I bought the Irwin AJ Amphicat before the CTVT toys with the intention of using it for Space 1999. It works for either 8" or 12"
I took these 12" cyborg pix well before I had the 8" Ctvt suits on vintage dolls.


Here it is with 1/6 scale Dave Mc special outfits. and a Henshin Cyborg Martian from CURE.
It is a bit big on 8", but I'm happy with it. Bettter than the TINY amphicat.

WOW, thanks for the actual pic of 8" figs in the AJ ATV.. I was always curious as to just how much smaller the AJ ATV was, compared to the Joe ATV.

It still looks big with the 8" scale, but not too bad. It'll be nice to have two figures suited up and riding the vehicle.

years back they were pretty common , they come up from time to time, the polyelthene use was very high quality.I have several
I have it mint in AJ boxed and a mint Generic boxed one for 12" figures.
Generic ones come with either American flag or Silver Amiphcat sticker.
the weird part The AJ ones came either with Generic Amiphcat decal, or The AJ logo sticker or sometimes both.
they can run on ebay 20 to 50 dollars.depending if its Geneic , AJ or has both logos will run more.
I got mine for 3 to 5 dollars range.
