On a more pedantic note, shouldn't the monster be identified as the Monster Frankenstein? "Frankenstein" alone refers to the doctor who created him.
I have to admit, I was thinking the same thing. Of course, "Frankenstein" had become the name of the monster in the general public's mind years ago, but it's nice to see that Mego tried to get the name right in the complete title on the packaging.
First, this particular figure wasn't in my collection, so Brian photographed it himself and did a beautiful job. Kudos and thanks.
The background is part of a new Monsters art set for Dida Displays, you will be seeing more of that in the card series....It's the most "handpainted" (Photoshop painting) of the cards so far because I wanted it to have that retro seventies illustrated look. A nice change from the super CGI look of the Apes.
Lastly, I labeled it Blue Haired Frankenstein because The Monster Frankenstein (Blue Hair) was too tiny! The regular Frankenstein card will read The Monster Frankenstein.
Every dog has his day, i did that in a dark room with one flickering light, a pain in the arse but kind of atmospheric, probably took longer than anyone you know.
I'm not into the Mego Monsters, but that is a really cool card! Good job, Scott!
