Mego Museum t-shirt in the work place

Since I'm a pre-school teacher, I'm lucky enough to be able to wear the jeans and t-shirt casual look to work. Today I'm wearing my MM shirt (in pink!). I always get lotsa comments on this shirt, from the staff, to the parents to my kids, (who think the "playhouse on my shirt looks cool").

Does anyone comment on your MM shirt when you where it to work, (or wherever)?

I often get asked where the Museum is... I liked how the first MM t-shirt has the site address, I think it's good advertising.

Sadly, I never got a MM shirt. I must have missed them while I was on one of my fantastic voyages. Ahh....Some times the trade off and sacrifices one has to make.

However, IF I did have one I would proudly wear it and show it off. Just not in pink though... Not for me anyway.

Neat that you can wear that kind of stuff to work. I really like the design of the recent MM shirt, so I try not to wear it too much, but I think I get more comments from the Justice League of America Shirt that I bought from Target last year than a shirt like MM. Since Justice League for example sparks a frame of reference, people always come up to me and start saying stuff like "Oooh, I loved that show as a kid (I guessing thinking Superfriends). Since most people do not have a frame of reference as to the Mego Museum and the art looks like a Topps package, I think they don't get the same spark to talk to a stranger about one's shirt.

Well, sometimes I get "Where's the Mego Museum?", or sometimes, "What's Mego?" I think folks get that it's a bubble gum card package design and that's what gets their attention. But to me, it's cool b/c it's like I belong to this really cool club that not everyone knows about, only a select few. It makes me feel special.
