where's the gun ????? - Starsky & Hutch

This has buged me since i started down the mego road, i want to know why Starsky and Hutch never came with guns since they used them on the tv show and yet the CHIPS figures came with guns but on the tv show they never used or even took them out of the hoster what gives? sorry just needed to rant

If all the guns in the world were owned by people who wouldn't use them, it would be a safer place to live.

Stranger yet, the British two packs did come with pistols....a country that is very much against firearms???

I think the reason is the same reason that WGSH never came with accessories, Mego didn't give accessories unless it was totally neccesary. Starsky and Hutch didn't really need gun's as they came in street cloths, CHiPs action figures were dressed as police so it would be far more confusing if police didn't have guns.

It's possible they might not have had guns because of an owners request.

Same thing happened with Mego's Black Hole line.
Disney told Mego, NO GUNS or LASERS with the figures.
