    My picks:

Star Trek: Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scotty, Andorian, Romulan

    Marvel: Green Goblin, Mr.Fantastic

DC: The Joker, Green Arrow(honorable mention for Spidey...he's not perfect, but I love him).

Kirk and McCoy are great sculpts.

I also think the Hutch sculpt is very good.

But....I know it was never a record breaking seller, but Pa Walton is a dead ringer for Ralph Waite...I find it quite eerie.

    Falcon!!!

I recently put together a Falcon that I aquired in a few separate auctions.
As I play Megos with my kids at night, I look back and think that The Mego Falcon was really one of my favorites, even with the ape hands!
    Ha ha!

Good call. Both of those figures are great. Although I love many of the Megos that didn't have perfect likenesses, I think they were about 50/50 on nailing the characters.

Spock, Kirk and Bones were awesome. Scotty, a cool figure, but not the best likeness. I don't know that the Klingon was a very good likeness, but he is one of my favorite Megos of all time!

Super Heroes: I thought they nailed it with Green Arrow, Green Goblin, Riddler, Joker, Shazam, Superman, Thor, Conan, and Spiderman. Iron Man and Mr. Fantastic were pretty darn close too. Batman and Robin may not have been perfect, but as a kid I thought they were pretty darn cool except for the oven mits. Tarzan could have been better, but he was ok. Mxyzptlk was a swing and a miss.

Given my avatar, it should come as no surprise to anyone that I think Dr. Doom stood out as one of the most noticeable of the missing characters from the Mego lines (right behind Lex)

Can't really add much more than has already been said but Mego got it pretty much right on most all figure lines except a few here and there.

Even though I'm not very interested in this line, the Wicked Witch from the WOZ line does look an awful lot like Margaret Hamilton.
