Best source for mego repros?

Ok, here's my delima....I've looked at a few sites, but can't make up my mind as to who to order from? I'm in need of some pretty basic Mego repro stuff....Bat gloves (for RC Batty),Bat Belt,Bat emblem, 2 pairs of Robin gloves,robin shoes, etc. BUT I'd also like to find a dealer that has some loose Mego figure clamshell cases.

Just trying to order everything from one place....to save shipping


Who do you guys order from?? Is there a truely "one stop shop" for Mego repros?

I have WGSH clamshells for sale but I'd go to Dr. Mego for any other repro parts you mentioned

Depends how much you want to spend.
CTVT has a limited selection of the items you mentioned but are WAY cheaper and just as good quality or better.

There is no one stop shop.

However, it is totally possible to assemble a great mix of original and repro, from Members, Vendors, and folks that make stuff here and there, that one can put together a great set of figures (that makes you feel like you have assembled a total representation of just about any of the 8-Inch stuff Mego ever made).

Yeah, that's kinda what I'm doing....just putting together figures for myself to enjoy. Obviously original is always the best....but at this time I'm on a bit of a budget..... so I'll track down originals or upgrade my figures later as funds allow.

That's what I've been doing for the last few years and I am completely happy.

It's been damn satisfying to put them together from parts here and there, and upgrade to nice originals when possible, but repro ain't a bad way to go when you want to make do.

I've been fortunate to make some trades here at MM and pick up some really nice original figures. I'm budget minded with most of my hobbies....so I enjoy trading for things that I want. Sometimes you just have to part with a bit of cash to get the tougher things....but since I'm starting out and needing even the common stuff I'm still able to find most of the stuff reasonably priced
