That picture loooks like the figure was life-sized!

Has there ever been a more under-appreciated, yet cool line of toys than AJ?

If not for the relative failure (or success) of AJ, there would be no retooling of the line and subsequent hits like WGSH. It all starts with AJ.

I got a lot of mileage out of AJ and that parachute -
until it got stuck in a tree in the backyard.

I keep a few boxed versions at work but keep one loose as a pen holder and when needed a relief from the drudgeries of work!

Man I remember when I saw the ad on TV when I was 5, I thought that it was the coolest toy ever! I convinced my mom and dad to let me have one even though it wasn't my birthday or Christmas. My dad's only stipulation, it had to be the black one.

'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

I still think that AJ is much better than GI Joe. As a kid I had AJ but not Joe. I also had that Gripper paddle game that they show in the ad. The suction cup ball was a neat idea, though my mom thought I was going to break a window with it as that was the only surface that it would stick to.
                        It's all good!
