    Owwwwww!

    Hi fellow MEGO friends. I just got back form having some oral surgery to remove a couple bad molars. They put me out and when I came to boy was I loopy.

    Doing better now but I look like a chipmunk.


    At least when I came home there were two boxes of MEGOs waiting for me from more of the fine folks on this board.

      you have my sympathy and envy, i hate oral surgery but love getting new mego's! take care.

              There are 2 things in this world I am sure of , and no it's not death and taxes. #1 There are no other toy's in the world cooler than Mego's. #2 Percocet is one heck of a drug. Heal fast and be well.

                  Due to a motorcycle accident at age 19 (hit a tree after the bike tossed me off) I have lower back problems. I declined surgery years ago so I have a constant supply of Norco. I have been on it for years and I've proven long ago that I am not an addict. I understood that Doctors have to be careful with those types of drugs and I get wizz quized often. I take it for the pain, not to get buzzed. I actually told the Oral Surgeon that I didn't need any pain meds and the look on his face was priceless!


                  I actually only took one pill today and now I feel pretty good since the bleeding finally stopped. The Doctor even called me at 9PM tonight to make sure I was doing well. It's the first time I went to this man and came away very impressed. Great service and as I left I kept thanking all the employees for doing such a fine job. I think that really made them all feel good as they all smiled and thanked me. Of course I couldn't speak very well with a mouth full of gauze and was still loopy from being knocked out. I didn't get the NOS, instead they injected me with something that was pretty strong. It took a few hours before I was "back to Earth" again.

                      Well thats good to hear. And believe me my comment wasnt made to sound sarcastic. I'm glad to hear that you will be healing well and at least be comfortable. And Mego's are still the coolest toy's ever made.

                          After living in pain for almost 25 years finally having the medicine to relieve the pain is a priceless!


                          And I agree, MEGO toys are the best! And so is this board!!
