    Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy?

Any interest in seeing them get the Mego treatment?

My Wife Maggy is a huge SB fan and has a collection to die for. About 30 of the largest storage tubs (45 gal?) full of NIB stuff. She even has 3 different, brand new bowling balls and a very hard to find train set. The train set took me over 2 years to find in brand new, unopened condition. One of these days we will try and drag much of it out into our back yard to take some pictures. I honestly think she has to have one of the largest collections there are. I am now building a new 10' X 12' shed to house it all as it has taken over my garage along with all my bikes.

Her favorite characters are Mr. Krabs and Squidward. She would buy those without hesitation. She is not so hot on the Barnacle Boy and Mermaid Man characters.

Someone did do a mermaid man but I agree, pass.
Seems the Spongebob popularity is waning, at least in these parts. Not much merch as before and not being pushed as often. Even my daughter wants to unload her DVD collection. She is 10 in the 5th grade, so uncool. lol

Sponge Bob is not going anywhere. It was always targeted to kids 3-7 years old. My daughter is 9 now. And Sponge Bob is not one of her top shows to watch anymore. The little kids still blow their monds over Sponge Bob.

Meule, I'm surprised you don't enjoy them as affectionate parodies of Batman '66...

As both an Aquaman & Bat-fan, I like MM & BB--Mego-style versions would be fun!
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

SB is still very strong around here. I picked up a back to school set for Maggy the last time I was at TRU and it was the last one in stock. There were plenty of the other ones still on the racks including Barbie, Spiderman, Cars, etc. The amount of stuff they make for SB is just sick. Plus many stores carry items others don't such as Sears and Burlington Coat Factory of all places.

And I forgot to add that whoever made those customs in the above picture did a fine job! I thought we were talking about actual toy company produced items. Some of you folks have mad skills at making customs. My hat's off to those that can do this!

I'd love 'em! I still have an "autographed" picture of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy sitting on my desk at work (a promo I got from Nickelodeon). Cannot tell you how many of my co-workers have asked about it.

That is very cool! Don't let my wife see that or she would run off with it!

I did buy Maggy an angry Mr. Krabs cell for Christmas. She loves it!

I still love Spongebob and the cartoon still makes me laugh, but pass on the figures.

I forget the episode that caught HUGE FIRE for the anal penetration comment. I remember it had something to do with Patrick and S.B. and Patrick said something and S.B's response was "I thought you said penetrate" while pulling a spatula or his thumb out from his backside. I have a 4 year old and of course would go right over his head but still not the kind of thing I would want Adler to see if he were 9. At least there are no custom Barney's or Teletubbies to my knowledge.
