To my horror, the Thing did not arrive in a box, but an unpadded 8x10 flat mailer envelope. Mercifully, the Thing was wrapped up in bubble wrap and was undamaged, but <insert foul language here>?? Who puts something like a Mego in an envelope to be mailed???

OK folks, just had to share my terrifing tale of the Mego Mailer...
Yikes, oddly enough I had the same thing happen to me not too long ago. I won an auction on a nice loose Thing, for a great price. Arrived in a padded mailer, wrapped in a small bit of extra bubble wrap. Sadly, my Thing didn't survive the mailing process so successfully, as one of the knee joints snapped when I opened the package. Knowing how those figures are, it's possible that it was already broken before mailing it, but I think the poor packing and shipping was the culprit. I don't know what the seller was thinking.

That must be a nice feeling.
The return of the FAB four.

I only have the Terrific two so far.

            FIRST,congrats on the find Megomaniac!

Second, if I got a mego in the mail like that I would send it back and demand my money back! Or before the sale request the seller to send it in a box! THANK GOD for this forum at least people here know how to send stuff, I've had things come in envelopes, they get bad feedback and I send them meaasges on how crappy they are as sellers,
for instance, one of my dear friends wanted a Vader's FX Lightsaber's you know the niiiiice ones? The seller had a factory pic of it, so I assumed it was the FX job, I placed a bid for almost 100 bucks, (it started at 25) shipping was $25.00 then waited for it to come. When the mailman brought a beat up kids lightsaber you could get at Walmart my friend being the sweet natured friend he is wouldn't let me raise too much Hell so he took it and still has it untouched (well as untouched as it could be I mean it was not packaged not at all! My Adress was taped to the actual box the lightsaber came in!
When my friend left I still messaged the seller telling him he's a ripoff and I gave him negative feedback, seems he'd done it before and that was the straw that broke the camels back, well one more jerk offa ebay, but I don't think it was worth 100 bucks for a $20 lightsaber!

Congrats! Getting the FF Megos was one of my top priorities when I, as a reasonable facsimilie of an adult, was able to afford my Mego Addiction!

Now we need that Dida Displays FF Baxter Building HQ, RIIIGHT Scott????
