I FINALLY got all the Mego Fantastic 4's

I won a Thing off Ebay last week and the package arrived yesterday! FINALLY I have all of the Fantastic 4! Years of collecting are complete...

To my horror, the Thing did not arrive in a box, but an unpadded 8x10 flat mailer envelope. Mercifully, the Thing was wrapped up in bubble wrap and was undamaged, but <insert foul language here>?? Who puts something like a Mego in an envelope to be mailed???

Horror at the post office, I went to the post office to mail out some mego cards to some members here, cards were nicely protected inside the envelope with a big writting stating: DO NOT BEND!!!. The mail lady does not read my instructions on the envelope and decides to inspect my envelopes folding them and trying to figure out what was in them, with terror in my face I yell; Please do not bend my envelopes, I have pictures in them!!!. No apology, just a dirty look and a comment, you are gonna have to pay .17 cents more because of the weight..... I paid and promise myself not to come back to this location anymore....

The Thing was the last piece that I got to complete my puzzle that is the Fantastic 4. I need to do some upgrading of a few pieces, but for now the puzzle is complete.

Thanks guys! With the Board's help, I've managed to get all the Megos I really want.

More than anything, wanted to share the packaging horror that met me at my mailbox. I'm still stunned by that.

Count yourself lucky... I read a post (complete with pics) on the old boards that someone's rural route mail carrier ran over their mail box and threw their package in the yard. It was one of those horror stories that you feel bad about laughing at, but it's hard not to when you envision a crazed rural route carrier tearing a** around, flatening mailboxes and flinging packages out the window as he speeds by.
