I never had this Remco set

...but I swear I had that Phaser. Did they sell any of those pieces separately?

Remco & Azrak-Hamway used that basic phaser design on many different releases, so it's very possible you had something like it without having the utility belt set.

I had that Star Trek Remco belt set too, and remember seeing just the phaser disc shooter around five and dime stores. Those sets were so much fun.
