    The Muhammad Ali Gym Playset

    Todays Update: The Prototype Muhammad Ali Gym Playset.

    File this one under "completely logical" Mego proposed a Gym playset for their line of Muhammad Ali figures in 1977, it's a manly version of the Dinah Mite Health Spa! Here the champ can train, check his weight and even take a schvitz!

                Though I'm not a boxing fan, I always found Ali very entertaining, even as a little kid. I'm sure this thing would have sold big along w/ the boxing ring.

                  That's a real beauty of a playset. I can sorta understand why they didn't release it though. With the boxing ring's introduction, they may have thought this wouldn't be as popular. There's not a huge amount of play value unless you're really into steaming, showering and weighing.
