hello,i am still new at this ,at mego market place,how do you buy stuff from folks,at mego museum,is it like ebay,any advice will be helpful,thank you

Marketplace is not an auction, sellers list their items (usually with prices or asking for offers). If you see something you want, send the seller a Private Message (PM) telling them that you will take the item. Then pay via paypal or other arranged method.

Paypal through this site-
In my experience, somebody that's selling something will give you their e-mail address in a PM and you'll either type it in or cut and paste it in paypal, and send it as a gift or however you usually do it. It IS a little sketchy to send a paymeny on a non business type site, and you're smart to question it...

Don't worry....I'm a new member too, and I was a little apprehensive at first, but I've bought several things on here from several folks, and I was very impressed how this site is VERY tight knit and VERY trustworthy.... no one will stab you on this site...if they did, they'd be literally EATEN ALIVE by the cool folks here..... that's MY experience anyway .... plus I think you're insured through paypal .....

You can also ask for tracking & delivery in the mail and pay a bit more in shipping. The key is communication. Some folks send right away, others send all of their items at once on a chosen day, etc.
