The fringe on the prototype's tail is also more pointy/pronounced and looks better...and more dangerous, which I am sure was the reason for the change.

Man, that is nice. I'd still like to own the real one. I had the cheap-o AHI version that worked on the same principal, but was much smaller.

I'm sure a lot of people already know this but for those of you that don't, the Bat Copter is actually a Microman piece:

The whole nose of the piece looks completely different to me as well. It also looks like the tail is shorter. Awsome update.

The article mentions that the Batsignal on th tail is the wrong color and is therefore probably hand-drawn. Just a reminder, it looks darn near idential to the red batsignal hub caps from the Batlab and looks more like a reuse of that sticker.
