    Mego Meet Up at Comic-Con?

I was wondering if we couldn't organize a meet-up for members who will be going to Comic-Con. I'll be attending Friday-Sunday. Seems like a Saturday meetup might be possible? Of course, I have no idea when or where.

    Who's going?

This seems like a panel that's right in our wheelhouse:

Saturday 4:00-5:00 Taking Back the Knight: Batman in the 1970s and Beyond— The 1960s Batman TV show -- fun as it was -- left the public thinking the Caped Crusader was more of a clown than a crimefighter. In the 1970s, editor Julius Schwartz, along with writer Dennis O'Neil and artist Neal Adams (mostly in collaboration with inker Dick Giordano), decided to take back the Knight to his darker origins. The resulting character became the template for the next three decades, a time span marked by Batman's huge success in films and other media. Moderator Mark Evanier talks with Comic-Con special guests Dennis O'Neil and Neal Adams about their rebirth of the Bat and with Paul Levitz on how that re-creation took Batman to even greater heights. Or come to the "Hunter Prey" screening on Saturday night at 6:30 at the Marriot in Hall 2... I'll be doing a panel on the making of the film afterward...

I will be spending a good amount of time with the Entertainment Earth guys,
when I'm not loitering at the Mattel booth in front of the new releases.

The Batman panel sounds interesting - it may be hard to get in since everyone
will want to ask Paul Levitz about his ouster from DC.

There's a cool BBQ place just down the block - maybe we could have dinner
              there?

                Scott,

It's listed under the independent film festival. If you go to the SDCC website, click on SDCC IFF and the listings for all the films they're showing and the times will come up. "Hunter Prey" is Saturday evening at 6:25 at the Marriot (next door) in Hall 2.

During the day, I'll just be wandering around, handing out flyers and promotional material... I'll be the white haired, tan, overwhelmed looking dude wearing glasses.
