Need some help reviving a few of my Mego figures...

I need a bit of help to revive 3 of my 8" Mego figures. These figures were flea market finds (Megos don't turn up that often at my local flea market...so I buy them when I find them) that I just couldn't walk away from.

#1 T1 Dracula------The body has a metal knee rivet which broke, and messed up the lower leg. I need to locate a right lower leg (as you face Dracula) and a proper sized metal rivet and washer to bring Drac back to his full glory. (Did Dracula originally come with shoes?? If so then those are missing also)

#2 Fonz------I need a plastic knee pin to put him back together (he's actually in great shape...and for $2 and complete I couldn't pass him up )

#3 T1 POTA Soldier Ape------ This ape was complete with original bandolier, gloves, boots, and M16...so I just couldn't bare to leave him. The problem is, his right hand (as you're facing him) snapped off at the wrist...leaving the wrist pin in the arm What's the best fix for this??? How hard is the wrist pin to extract from the arm? Anyone have a complete right wristwith the hand attached?? OR should I just look for a headless Ape body (I'd prefer to have a T2 body honestly) and swap everything over????

Also, while I'm at it....what's the best, and safest way to clean a Mego suit without ruining any printing, stitching, or etc.???

Just looking for some advice, or leads on how to restore my Mego figures.....from an uber 8" Mego novice fan....

Welcome, place a post in Marketplace you might be able to pick up the parts you need.

I would suggest getting a new leg for Dracula and yes he had shoes (might be hard to get a pair of original shoes).

For the T1 ape -- also get a new arm easier to replace than just a hand.

Someone probably has a spare pin, but if not you can buy replacements from Dr. Mego or CTVT same with the dracula shoes if you don't mind reproductions.

For washing, I use a small amount of Dawn dish soap. Dry the suit flat on a towel.

The Wizard of Oz wears the same shoes as Dracula. You should be able to pick up a Wizard for cheap with a little patience.

Hey hope you find your pieces but a word of advice before you get everyone confused (we have to all stay on the same page here ).
When referring to body parts, only use references that relate to your own body, not "while looking at him, etc". So using yourself as reference, state which of YOUR hands/legs match the broken ones on your figure. Then you'll be sure to get the correct pieces.
