Spider-Man, The Cowardly Lion and Dr Cornelius visit Long Island.

When Mego celebrated a grand opening, they invited only A listers to the event, as evidenced by characters from the biggest lines of 1975, namely Wizard of Oz, World's Greatest Superheroes and Planet of the Apes. Note the wonderful assortment of product behind them. Click on the photo for a better view.

That is a fun picture. Who showcases the opening of a warehouse today?
      It's all good!

Only Mego would open a warehouse in such a style.

I know that Samet and Wells made the Mego stuffed King Kongs, but I'm not sure about the Super Softies (did Mego own that company yet when the softies came out?)

And here is the warehouse today-

And inside (with Rite Aid supplies. sorry no Megos)-

I heard Rite Aid had closed down there operation there. I wonder if the warehouse is now empty or if someone took it over.

Wasn't the MacArthur Airport Road site on the other side of the airport? I think Nature's Bounty is there now also.

The one Bill and I went to is on Orville Dr., not MacArthur Airport Rd......unless they renamed the road.

And Bill I think CVS has the old Rite Aid site now.
