hey hows it going.
joined the forum to share and meet with other megomaniacs like myself. also to pull the resources of those in the know about restoring old mego's (my megos hair paints are fading.)

My prior group affiliation was with kit bashing GI Joes. not much on customizing.
any Kit bashers here?

any way. hope to be sharing what I'm working on soon.(where do I post pics and how?)

My Moderator member "lone4eagles" of my own "Native American Community" Website forum posted about that to our members:

You'll need to size the photo first, mine is 100 pixels high, 98 pixels wide. Must upload that image to a server which allows linking to picture files. If you can't find a place or someone who has hosting, I'll upload your image to my server. Just give me a PM.

Your image URL will look something like this...

Avatars

Go to Profile, find Modify Profile above. When editing your profile, find Avatar, then Avatar URL. Paste the image url in this box. Then click the Modify Profile at the end.

Photos in the post

When you edit your reply to a post, the editor opens up. Find the 4th tab on the bottom row of tabs. Clicking the tab puts these bracket tags there Don't leave any spaces in your code.

Click between the brackets and paste the image url. It should look like this...

Type together, not space then it'll showing up.

When the preview tab is clicked, if done properly. will display in the post.



Using the image tags in a post without the url, will cancel out other image tags in it that contain an image url. The only way to do this, as I have done here, is to use the code tab (3rd from end of bottom row).

I'm half mixed-blooded Native American: Cherokee, Choctaw & Creek and half 4 mixed whites. I'm Website Admin "White Eagle" there.

Hope you can make your own pictures to upload in those websites. You can try that and this Mego Museum gallery in the Tips and Tricks board.
